Amazon Music

Post by Marshall Toburen »

I have purchased several albums and individual tracks on Amazon. They reside on Amazon and can be downloaded. How do I get this music brought into Media Monkey?

Did you try downloading and adding into the library?

Yes, I downloaded the files into MyMusic folder on my PC. When I tried to scan for new files in MM, I chose the MyMusic folder but it did not capture the new songs. I'm trying to bring in Taylor Swift's 1989 album which was only released digitally.

Can you play them from MM's My Computer or from WinExp?

Yes. I can open open File > Open URL or File and play the .mp3s from my MyMusic folder. I can not get them added to my library tho... Any other ideas?

What OS are you on?

Make sure you selected MP3 as File Types in the Add/Rescan Files dialog.
