Support for Multiple devices
Moving from iTunes to something else. MediaMonkey at the top of the list right now. My 40gb music collection is on my Windows desktop PC, running Windows10. I currently have an iPod 5th gen Classic (80gb) and a 2gb Shuffle. I want a product that will let me sync to both devices as well as to my Android phone. What I am talking about is possibly three separate libraries, all based on the single music collection, that lets me manage all three devices independently. Is MediaMonkey that product?
Re: Support for Multiple devices
Yes, although MediaMonkey can't have multiple Apple products connected at the same time it can sync to a variety of devices. You can also use Collections (MM Gold), Playlists and AutoPlaylists (MM Gold) to set what to sync to each individual device.

Re: Support for Multiple devices
Thanks for the info. One more question regarding Playlists. My current iTunes playlists have been lost but they still reside on my iPod. Does MM allow two-way transfer which could allow me to recover my playlists, or do I need to rebuild them from scratch?
Re: Support for Multiple devices
No, MediaMonkey is one-way sync for Apple devices: http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.p ... zation/4.0 It can copy music files back (not Playlists) to the PC: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... to-your-pc

Multiple devices
I'm new to mediamonkey.
I have 2 Apple ipods, one nano (16gb) I keep in the car and one touch (32gb) for other use. Each has a different library of songs on it, can someone explain to me (in simple language) how I can sync both of these 2 ipods using mediamonkey. I used to be able to achieve this in iTunes with very little hassle, but since purchasing a new laptop running Windows 10 and being unable to install iTunes I have been won over by mediamonkey. I do so hope this can be achieved because everything else seems so good.
Many thanks

I am not sure why you would have trouble installing iTunes under Windows 10, but here is an old bit of advice on it: http://www.redmondpie.com/itunes-wont-i ... to-fix-it/
In any case you do not need the full iTunes to sync with MM and Apple devices, CopyTrans Drivers can install just the components you need: https://www.copytrans.net/support/insta ... ng-itunes/
