is it included in gold ?

Neither MM5 nor the new codec pack are for sale yet. They're both available as time limited trials for testing purposes.

I have just purchased the Codec Pack v3.0.4.
I received a link that is only valid for a limited time.

How do I get updated versions?

Once you install a Licensed Codec Pack you can install the newer versions from the Addons site on top.

I have never bothered with using a Codec Pack before.
