no effect equalizer

I'm using Win 10 with a Presonus audio interface. The EQ appears, and I can move the sliders, and I can pan the sound, but the EQ sliders have no effect at all on the sound. Any ideas?

If you are using WASAPI in exclusive mode then audio is bitstreamed to Sound Card so EQ is not in an effect.

Where is this exclusivity configured? I changed my Output Plug-In to MediaMonkey DirectSound output but the EQ still does nothing.

Did you restart MediaMonkey after changing Output Plugin? Exclusive Mode is set in the settings for the WASAPI Output Plugin and only available when using WASAPI.
