MediaMonkey for Windows is sold through ‘My Commerce’ a division of Digital River GmbH. Since it’s based out of Germany, the German VAT rate is charged for any European customers. In some cases, this may be several percentage points higher than your local VAT rate, however, as a German company, MyCommerce is obligated to charge its local VAT rate.

If you’re ordering MediaMonkey in a currency other than USD, ‘MyCommerce’ charges a foreign exchange rate that may be several percentage points higher than your bank. To save on this, you can order in USD (thereby allowing your credit card company take care of the foreign exchange).
