Editing Properties

MMA allows you to edit the Properties of the media files in your MMA Library. These changes are saved to the MMA database only. To save the tag changes to the files themselves requires a Sync with MMW.

You can select individual files, multiple files or items like Artist, Album and Genre to edit them. Which properties can be edited depends on what is selected. Once you've selected what should be edited use the 3-dot Menu to tap Properties to enable editing. MMA provides a limited sub-set of fields for editing, more options are available when editing files in MMW.

Deleting Files

  • Selected files, you can delete selected files by using the 3-dot menu and selecting Delete. A confirmation will ask if you want to delete.
    • In a Playlist it will be Remove from Playlist, which will prompt if the selected files should be removed only from the Playlist or also from the device.
    • In the Playing Queue it will be Remove from Playing queue, which will prompt if the selected files should be removed from the Playing Queue, Playing Queue and Selected Playlists or from both and also deleted from device.
  • Values like a Genre, Artist or Album, which will prompt to remove the files associated with that value from the device.
