You can access the Setting in MMA from the menu by tapping the settings gear icon. Then tap UI to be able to change the following user interface settings.

Theme

Under theme you can select different pre-defined Skins for MediaMonkey for Android.

Notifications

Notifications allows you to:

  • Show in notification bar, which sets how long MediaMonkey should keep its notification active after playback stops. You can have notification disabled, always shown or set a pre-defined amount of time it should keep showing.
  • Player notification type, which allows you to set a small, large or default system notification (only available on older Android versions).
    • Show seek bar, which when enabled will show the seekbar in the notification (only when Large is selected).

Home screen

Customize home screen will allow you to select which Library items are shown on the home screen and side bar. You can configure to show a child-node by tapping the eye icon next to it. There are 3 states:

  • Show in tabs, which will only show this child-node in tabs when viewing the top-level node.
  • Show on home screen (top level), which will show this top-level child node on the home screen, when 2 or more child-nodes are set to this (it will also disable showing of the top-level node on the home screen). The child-node will also be shown in tabs in this state.
  • Disabled, which will hide the child node from the home screen and the tabs.

You can change the order of the top-level nodes appearance which will affect the order displayed on the home screen as well as the menu using drag & drop. You can also change the order of the child-nodes within the top-level node which will affect the order shown on the home screen (if displayed there) and the tabs.

Status indicator

Show progress details, which will show details about what background task is running when enabled.
