You can access the Setting in MediaMonkey from the menu by tapping the settings gear icon.


Audio

  • Level volume, when enabled it will use the existing leveling tags in the files to play all files at the same level. This requires files to be Synced from MMW with known Track level.
  • Audio transitions, which allows you to set how MediaMonkey transitions from one file to the next on playback.
    • None, which will fully play a file, then start the next after.
    • Gapless, which will skip gaps (silence) at the beginning and end of the file, playing one file, then the next.
    • 'Crossfade, which will fade out the end of a file, while fading in the next file, blending the 2 together for a less abrupt change between files.


Notification & System sounds

  • Prevent volume changes, when enabled it will prevent playback volume from being lowered while a notification sounds.
  • Disable notification sounds, when enabled it will mute notification sounds while MediaMonkey is playing files.
  • Disable touch sounds, when enabled it will mute touch sounds while MediaMonkey is playing files.


Remote controls

  • Always respond to remote buttons, when enabled it will allow MediaMonkey to respond to remote buttons like play/next even if MediaMonkey wasnt't the last used media App.
