Well, yes. You're using a beta build when a stable build of MM is available. I don't see what is so wrong with requesting you to upgrade.
Perhaps all the MM documents/pages should be updated with status that says this or that is resolved with 3.2. Why would I go through the trouble of upgrading just to find out the problem still exists?
Because we know beta builds have bugs - that's why they are beta builds.
Especially when all of the info I have found on the site has still stated that up to firmware 2.x is supported but 3.x or later requires beta 1267? If you can't say it's resolved in that version spare me your rhetoric.
Here's just a few links for you where iPods/sync issues are mentioned in the release comments since the build you are using (this is not even including specific iPod bugs as listed in the bug tracker):

You're obviously not interested in being helpful. Just don't know ho w to take a criticism.
I beg to differ, I am very interested in helping you, otherwise I wouldn't have posted at all. But to report a bug on an outdated beta version of MM isn't really worth me or anyone looking into. I don't think anyone will take a reported bug seriously unless it is with at least the current version.

Everything is configured correctly. When I disconnect/Reconnect the iPod there is a new d_iphone.dll generated and I lose all synch options. I have to reconfigure manually each and every time I reconnect the iPod.

What's the status on development for the latest and greatest Ipod Touch? To be honest, I'm not sure if I care there is a chopped up swap this or that dll and reinstall the beta of the beta type of answer. I really expect more than this type of approach. When will MM team get these issues resolved and support for the Ipod Touch wrapped up into a released version that actually WORKS??!!

I am SERIOUS about music and my iPod Touch/MM have been what I use for quite some time now but Unfortunately if this type of thing can't be resolved reasonably then I will have to consider abandoning MM.

Any help would be appreciated.... but I hope MM looks at these forums/issues/complaints and takes it all seriously.
Perhaps you should consider upgrading to the current version of MM (now 3.2) before looking for help.

I had a Iphone 3GS 32GB Neverlocked.
Itunes 9 (lates Version)
MM 3.2 Final
Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

If i synch the first time my music its works all fine.
After the synch the ipod app build up the database and I can hear my music, see my cover art and the lyrics.
If I pugin my Iphone and Itunes synch my apps my music is still on the Iphone, the Coverart works fine but the lyrics a gone.
After synch with MM again sometimes I get the lyrics back sometimes nothing happends.

I think the lyrics the greates problem for synch with MM but I like this feature so much.
I had configure my MM and Ituens like the wiki say.
Maybe you have a reason for me, that I can put my Lyrics on the Iphone for a longer time.

Have just tried syncing some playlists to my 3g 16gb iphone fw 3.1.2
It hung and crashed the phone as well. Had to do a full restore.
Is this a known issue? Are there anything things I should of done previously? changed iphone.dll etc
iTunes 9.02.25
MM 3.20.1294
Win XP
If I reinstall MM are ALL the database files in the one place for when I back up?

No, the included one with the beta should be fine. You might have to install iTunes and Quicktime.

You are correct!! For some reason I didn't check the actual touch, just assumed that it wasn't there b/c it wasn't showing up in MM.

Thnx!!!

I have the new 64gb iTouch. All seems to be working well except my cover art that is stored in the mp3 tags is still not transferring to the touch when I sync. I've checked the files in my library and the art work is embedded in the tag. When I check the properties of a file on the touch they all show no artwork.
That's because MM reads the track data from the iPod database, not from the track tags when reading tracks from iPods (I think). So its rather expected that you don't see the art in the file properties. It should still display fine on the touch, because MM creates the iPod art database which the iPod reads art from.

However the art work does transfer and shows up on the touch when I sync with iTunes, just not with MM. I despise working with iTunes.

Any ideas??

But if your database is fubar, what else is the alternative if you want to use your phone with no glitches?

Until MM fully supports 3.0+, and not just in beta, iTunes may still be the best sync option with no glitches. It sucks but Apple likely planned it this way. They've likely made it deliberately harder for third party sync software to get the database just right, and jailbreakers too may have some trouble. Notice how they keep changing the software and firmware a bit too often lately? They claim it's only to fix bugs but notice how they rework everything so stuff breaks? A simple bug fix shouldn't require a 91MB iTunes download and whole new firmware that breaks things.
