Maybe it was my error, but I don't think so. It's hard to miss one track when adding album art 53 times. Ok, you got me, I'm going to go grab the beta and tag a bunch of stuff to see if it still happens.nohitter151 wrote:Sorry, I'm not aware of any art issue.

Re: First track of the album's comments get truncated
What version are you using? I'm not sure, but I believe that this bug was fixed in one of the latest releases. I'm using 3.1.1.1261. I'm glad to hear it's fixed in 1266, but I've grown weary of beta testing things, and will wait for the full release. Just to be clear, that is for my album art issue ...

Re: First track of the album's comments get truncated
I wanted to post an update to this, as I've found that album art (embedded in the tag) gets this same sort of random treatment. As an example I just tagged 500+ or so albums, and 53 tracks from those albums don't get embedded in the tag, as shown in the "Inconsistent album art" node under Files to ...

So this is still an all-or-nothing thing? You have to tag everything even if you don't want to? Oh, well, I was really hoping you could work out the check box thing for each section (Art, Tracks, Label, Date, etc.). I already have a lookup for Discogs. I don't need an all-or-nothing tagger script ...

Re: Controlling MM remotely (networked laptop)
Re VNC, I switched form TightVNC to UltraVNC(also free) - appears to be much faster as claimed, and really simple to use. http://www.uvnc.com/ I have not tried Remote Desktop, but I believe its only an XP Pro option and I only have Win XP SP3 Home Edition. Yep, that's true. You cannot remote FROM ...

Re: HUGE Font In The New MediaMonkey
I'd like to weigh in on this one, because it hasn't been suggested yet. I'm getting old. My eyes are getting worse, and while it used to be nice to have as much info on the screen as I could at once, I can't read it anymore. So I turned the Windows system font size to a larger setting, but it never ...

Re: Controlling MM remotely (networked laptop)
I have unsuccessfully searched for answers to this question. Any guidance or links to previous thread would be appreciated. I would like to setup MM on a PC in an equipment rack in a closet that is connected to an A/V receiver with speakers in 3 separate rooms. For parties, etc. we would like to ...

Re: Discogs Auto-tag Web Search
And btw I just got an error while trying to tag an album saying: Error #424 - Der opstod en Microsoft VBScript-kørselsfejl (runtime error) Et objekt er obligatorisk: 'XMLSearchResults' (needed object) File: blablabla Line: 170, Column: 1 Yeah, I tagged like 30 albums just fine, and then it threw ...

Re: Discogs Auto-tag Web Search
Wow, thank you for your work Eepman. I was just going to grind through the forums to try to find an alternative for auto-tagging since Amazon option went kaput. I've had the old discogs script installed for a long time, but barely ever use it because of the speed issue, the alternate artist numbers ...

Re: First track of the album's comments get truncated
this is interesting as the symptoms appear to be the same as for the lyrics truncation issue. so you can use this similar magic nodes mask to find them. Comments truncated|Filter:Length(Songs.Comment) = 203 AND <Comment> Like '%...'\<Album artist>\<Album> i do have many long comments but have not ...

First track of the album's comments get truncated
I did a search and found one post that was old that had the same problem but no reply. I'm having a problem with comments, the first track's comments get shortened. Maybe to the ID3v1 length, I'm not sure I haven't counted. It's not every album I add long comments to though, just every once in ...

Re: Syncing whole random albums to device (with album art)
You could create an autoplaylist with criteria for creating whole albums and sorted by random album, I use one with this criteria: http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/4259/randomalbum.png You could further limit it by number of megabytes that you want to keep it to, but keep in mind that the ...

Re: Syncing whole random albums to device (with album art)
Well it seems to me that the problem is obvious: you said all of your art is embedded and Rockbox doesn't support it. Right? No. as I understand it, it when it syncs the device, it creates folder.jpgs in each album folder from the embedded album art, in fact I see the folder.jpgs all over the place ...

Re: Syncing whole random albums to device (with album art)
Nope. Well, that really sucks. I guess it's over to the feature request board then. For your 2nd question: Doesn't Rockbox only read bmp images?[/quote] Nope, this is from the Rockbox manual for my version of device : Rockbox does not support album art embedded in your files’ tags, and will instead ...

Syncing whole random albums to device (with album art)
I did a search, and saw a couple other people ask this in sort of a sideways way, but I've never seen an answer. Is there a way to use the auto-sync and the "Sync a random subset of selected music..." checkbox to sync whole random albums instead of just random tracks? It's really annoying to have ...
