I'm struggling to get the backups zipped... really strange that it has stopped working after 2 years. XZip.dll is in the AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\Scripts directory and I've tried the command prompt trick.
Any ideas? My database is 45MB with 9,000 tracks, so not huge.

Auto organize rule logic
Hello everyone, I'm trying to organise video files in a specific naming convention, contingent on whether data is present within the 'Season' field: If there is data in the 'Season' field: <series>.S<season>.E<track> If there is no data in the 'Season' field: <series>.E<track> My code is below, it ...

Re: PodCast download selection
I think this is achievable. Go to "Tools > Options > Podcasts (tree-node)" and then in the downloads section select "no episodes" (see the printscreen below for clarification). This should result in you being able to view the Podcasts available, but MediaMonkey will not downloading them ...

Re: not adding tracks to library when editing tags
Olá, Where is the folder with the unedited music located? It may be easier to just segregate it from your current music library by placing it in a different area on your PC. This way the tracks won't be added to MediaMonkey, allowing you to edit them in your own time and manually place them within ...

Re: Library taking a long time to load
I'm wondering whether your D:\ Drive is waking up from a sleep mode (a period of inactivity) when you're accessing it from MediaMonkey. Hard Drives can take a while to start spinning again and may seem unresponsive in tasks such as this. If this is the case, it may be possible to resolve the issue ...

Re: copy music from iphone to mm?
If you highlight the relevant tracks you wish to Sync, right click and then go to "Send To...". Your iPhone should be selectable in there, allowing you to transfer the files. There's also an option at the top of the menu bar. Its a little icon that says "Send To Portable Device" when you scroll over ...

Ah, you mean tagging from the Web? I've experienced this quite frequently as well. Amazon almost seems geared towards eradicating the world of tracks starting with a definite article.

You could try and roll back to a previous Restore Point. Here's a link that may be of use on the subject of System Restores: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsupport/learnmore/systemrestore.mspx One caveat; I'd advise you to create a new Restore Point before you roll back to a ...

They might be in the following directory:
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME_HERE\AppData\Local\MediaMonkey
If that doesn't work, you might be able to find them by using the Windows Search field located in the Start menu.

Re: Removing "The" from song names.
The only thing I can think of is the prefix option within the option menu. Try going to: "Tools > Options > Library (Tree Node) > Appearance (Tree Node)" Have a look at the below print screen and see if the "Ignore prefixes when sorting by Artist" option is ticked. http://i47.tinypic.com/210ekjr.png ...

Re: Auto-tag album titles only
I just tried it out myself and it worked for me. I put an album on my desktop under the same directory system as you: C:\...\Desktop\Ten Foot Pole\Albums\Swill I then erased the Album name from the tags, to simulate your predicament, and used the Auto-tag feature to add it back by using the "<Artist ...

Re: Auto-tag album titles only
Just so I'm understanding you correctly, you wish to add the album title tag information to each track in your music library? This should be achievable using the "Auto-tag from Filename..." feature you've been using. I think the main problem has been configuring the path properly to include the ...

Re: Library File Management
Here's some information which may be of some use on all three issues. There may also be some quite useful scripts you could use useful for you too. 1) Files are named improperly. You could use the tag information to correct the file names by going to "Tools > Auto Organize Files..." (Alternatively ...
