Is Reverting back to original Metadata Normal?

So I've been using MM for a while now but something that has really been bothering me is every once in a while, a lot of my tracks revert back to the data that was associated with it before I changed it. I have a Yahoo music subscription and all of the tracks come labeled with artist, genre etc. The ...

Alright guys I think I just figured it out. It has to with ratings. If your tracks are rated, it will re-sync them every time (weird?!) I just learned that even if they appear rated, for some reason they still are so here is what I just did, and although it may not work for you, the problem is ...

Well I just found a possible temporary fix that is kind of obvious but a little weird. I went into the hotkey options and went to the "next" hotkey and simply made the hotkey for that "multimedia play/pause" So now, to pause I just hit the next key although I'll change it to a less used button. This ...

Having a similar problem. I have an HP Wireless Media Center Keyboard, and a wireless WMC remote that came with my computer. Functions such as next track, previous track, and stop work fine with MM 3 but play/pause do not. They always worked with MM 2 and I use them constantly. I'm sure it has ...

No, I have not changed the Field IDMedia to 42, partly because I couldn't find it. Is that just the field in MS Access that says ID? It seems to be working right now, what would changing it to 42 to do for me?

I really appreciate your help on this issue. I have been able to play a song on both computers and they both use the same DB. This is great and what I wanted however I still have a problem. In order to play a song on my new computer, I had to go into the DB with MS Access on my old computer and ...

This is still me I guess I wasn't signed in last time. Anyway I understand what you are saying, I have to go through my network when adding files rather than adding from my drive. And to answer your question, I have 2 computers but only one library. To get my library on my new computer, I used this ...

Share # of Plays?

Just got a new computer and I was wondering if there was any way to share the # of plays between both computers just like you can share the number of plays between a computer and portable device. For instance, if I listen to a song 2 times on one computer and 2 times on another, both computers ...

Bump. I changed all of my songs to have an "Unknown" rating but I'm still having the problem with it only re-adding songs I've previously rated.

Ratings and Timstamps

I've been having problems with MM syncing songs that already syncing to my Zen:Vision M. I just realized that every time I hook my zen up and it gets ready to sync, every song that I've rated gets a timestamp of the current time, which then makes it sync to my zen. Is this supposed to happen? Is ...

Manual Play Count??

Is this a current script or possible? There are often times that I download a single before the album comes out and usually the single is edited, so I end up deleting that and just listening to the unedited album version, but is there anyway to just manually give it 56 plays? With WMP I used to just ...

>1 Artist Tracks and those terrible 177 tracks.

I have a few more questions about the program. 1.) Is there a way to have multi-artist tracks? For instance, if JOHN and FRANK did a track together, is there a way for the song to be seen as each of them on it. So when I open up the artist tree, the song is under JOHN and FRANK's name? 2.) I know ...

Thanks a lot man that seems to solve it. I always wondered about the 1/3 thing. And it seems that is the problem, I just needed to leave and come back kind of like when you edit something. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
