Hi Peke,

Not sure what the 'CD Reader v3.0' Input Plugin is? Where do I get it?

I am using Nero ASPI, not Adaptec, as I rip MP3's to the standards on Ubernet.org (http://www.ubernet.org/modules.php?op=m ... erstandard) and they require Nero ASPI.

Thanks for the help.

Device or Driver does not support ASPI RAW & Read comman

Here's the scenario: CDROM is Plextor UltraPlex 40Max SCSI with latest firmware. WinXP Pro SP1. I place a CD in the drive and get this error: "Your device or driver does not support ASPI RAW & Read command. Sense Key: 0x5 (Illegal Request). Sense Code: 0x20 0x0 (Invalid command operation code)." I ...

Even though the Volume label of the disk is still 'USB160'?

I'm not sure what a quick format would have to do with that.

Peke - I put the code at the end of the players.ini file, saved the file, then did a reboot.
Still the same problem, no change.

Should it be at the end of players.ini? Why would this not be something that would be fixed in a new release of MM?

Thanks for the help.

Octopod -

Nope, it does it with only one press of the prev/next button.

Peke -

I'll give it a try, but I don't think I'm quite sure to put it in the ini file.

Hi Rusty, No, this is one external HD, and I had nothing on another HD. Here's how it went: - I copied my collection to the USB external HD. As I said, the Volume name for the external disk is USB160. - I transported the external disk to work, and plugged it into my work computer (for a little ...

I also have a Logitech keyboard, and have the same 'track skipping' issue when pressing the next track key.

Is there any plan to look into fixing this one? The play/pause works fine.

I am running Win2K SP3 with MM 2.2.2.777, and a Logitech Cordless Elite Duo keyboard.

Thanks!

I have the same problem. I did a Add/Rescan and got two sets of files as mentioned by Purkolator. It is the same physical file for both track entries listed, and the only difference is the Path. I have an external USB HDD enclosure, with a copy of my collection on it at work. The drive connects ...

Hi Lowlander, Yes, my problem is with various artist albums. I am using EAC and encoding with LAME using --alt-preset extreme. The Artist and the Album Artist are being encoded with the same value - the Artist (track artist). I then have to change the Album Artist in MM. I have not found tagging ...

Album Artist - is this a tag?

I have been using the Multiple Artist Albums feature, and I have a question or two. 1 . Is the Album Artist an actual MP3 ID tag? When looking for it using Tag&Rename or Mp3TagStudio, I cannot see it. MM obviously sees it. I would like to actually rip and encode it properly if it is and actual tag ...

I agree that it should be an option to display it.

I hope that a future release will incorporate this option. Maybe I should post it in the Wish List forum?

Thanks for your help.

So you are saying that it is normal for the track numbers to be displayed in the Title?
It is annoying!!

Oops - answering your second question - "If you do edit properties of the track does the edit properties window show the track number in front of the title as well?"

When I do Edit Properties, the track number does NOT show in front of the title.

Thanks again for your reply.

Hi Lowlander, It shows up in all nodes (Album, Artist, etc). Let me try to explain. When highlighting 'Album' or 'Artist', the numbering does not show up in the Title. But, as soon as I highlight a particular artist, or album, within the node, the numbering appears at the beginning of each Title ...

I have it on two different installs of MM, and I can't see what could be causing it. Unless it is my file naming convention, but I don't see that as being that out of the ordinary.

Anyone have any ideas?
