Re: 1343 MainTree active Selection Background bug
the code is telling monkey to over ride the background with the windows background for the active background.
it should be changed to tell it to show the skins background. is my guess.
but since i've got trouble with the background color of black being transparent that might be your cause of this issue too.

Re: 1343 MainTree active Selection Background bug
To clarify

you see in MM3 and MM4 until build 1342 the behavior was as expected ,
mouse over Node change font color,
click on it shows active background,
Click somewhere else shows inactive background.
In build 1343 the behavior changes,
doesn't matter if you activate FullRowSelect (new MM4 features )or not.
maybe it have some to do that win system overwrite some Skin objects in this build!
somehow i like this behavior, but please make it skinable!!!

Re: 1343 MainTree active Selection Background bug
I can confirm.
I didn't notice it at first because I use a custom visual style where the selections are grey. XD
But yes DreadM is right.
And Yeah it could be interesting if these were skin-able.

I'm still trying to get my head around this to enter it into Mantis. So the problem is the highlighting of the item is using Windows theme instead of skin? Where I get lost is that skin theme should be used (obviously) but then you request to make this skinable????

I think the problem is that this highlighting on mouseover was never available in MM before, and now it's appeared out of nowhere.Lowlander wrote:I'm still trying to get my head around this to enter it into Mantis. Re: 1343 MainTree active Selection Background bug
thats not the background ? that is item select.
in mm i've had to add to item select in the theme engine an active bitmap before that would show for the whole
screen it was an image that some how a few well more like 12 months ago was removed from our control and that blue
line just insisted on being used. i have readded that client activeimage to that item select but i only get the image to show on a few skins. so i've been thinking they have removed that from the skinners optional use. i know i've tried to get that changed in my skin i'm trying to update for mm 4 now and it does not change to the client active image i put in it.
just keeps that blue line.

sorry for the confusion,I don't use the right words in the headline,
nohitter find the right words, and it's already tracked at Mantis, thanks!
But i must say more i life /work with this bug ,more i like it ,
i think it would be a better/nicer solution for the mouseover behavior in the Maintree! ( but skinable )
