I've discovered something interesting about track titles and the G15 LCD display. With default settings, tracks with the postfix " -" will be properly displayed on the LCD. I can test this with any track, the title will display properly and the postfix will remain hidden.

I've observed most of the threads dealing with fixes for the G15 display, and I dont want to run additional software or plugins, or use winamp as my default media player.

My question is thus, why is there a stray -operator in the title field? And is there any way to apply this as a general rule to all title fields without having to add it individually to all my tracks?

Here I come to join the gang of Logitech G15 owners. :D

I would also like MediaMonkey to work without any other plugins or having to manually start a plugin every time I open MediaMonkey. The default "Logitech Media Display" works well, but I only see the artist and nothing else. A cool way to customize what is viewed would be cool.

New version released so head on over to mylcd.sourceforge.net.
Hopfully this resolves most, if not all if the issues people are having.
If using the Installer, install in to 'yourMediaMonkey/Plugins' folder and you'll still need to manually copy the gen_ and vis_ dll's to the usual location.
Official release thread is here.

This program looks cool. I saw the YouTube video for it, but how easy is it to install? I think the last time I looked at it, I was turned off of the steps necessary to get it working in MM. Is there a step-by-step guide anywhere? On the G15 Forums maybe?

Hi Peke,
'LCD Beat' is intrinsically tied to 'Dancinglights' through the data which the latter provides. Not everyone would appreciate the LCD shaking, so an option was provided to disable this. Therefore I don't consider this a bug, but a feature.

Using MM 1091 I'm unable to reproduce the lock you described but this does sound similar to the issue introduced with 0.30.6, which was fixed in 0.30.7.

I wanted to say, that I found another plugin. It's called "NogardG15 V0.8 Beta". It works without having to press any button in MediaMonkey. Just copy the DLL to the plugin directory and the font to the fonts directory.

It's nearly perfect. Only the graph in the G15 display is not displayed.

Have a try! :)

That was so easy to install. Thanks! Pressing the "Configure" button made the options go in the background and makes MM look like it froze. It would be nice to get that "graph" to display.

Is this other plug-in discussed here that easy to install?

Which "Configure Button" do you mean? I didn't have to configure the plugin...

The one inside the "Options" window for the "General Plug-ins" section in MM.
