Yea, I'm just working on it! :)

My first three exams are over and I got two 'Passed' and a 5.75 (best is 6.0) in statistics. So I also hope I can use my new knowledge in statistics for my script. :)

What the next step will be: Probably I first have to create a script which exports the relevant informations about some of your songs which you have to rate manually. Then I'll try to do some analysis about this data to check which variables (like SkipCounter, PlayCounter) have which influence on your rating. After that I can calculate an optimal formula for everyone.
Well the idea would be, that the AutoRateAccurate-script can calculate this formula by itself, but I don't know if this is possible since the algorithm isn't so easy. If not I'll try to do a email-service where you can send your exported songinformations to and I'll just analysise them (which is done very fast because I can use a batch-file).

Just to let you know. :)

EDIT: Good news! Got it to work! :)

Nice to see that so much people care about this script! :)

Right now I'm searching a bug which is really hard to find... But I'm on it. Hopefully it's not a MM bug which has to be fixed first...

And I have a really nice idea for AutoRateAccurate 2.1! :)

Out of all the autoRating tools ext. I think this is the best. Seems to do it just right!

Anyhow I am just another person who will be very happy when this is MM3 compatible :)

Poohh... That was a really hard day, invested hours to find that MM-bug but couldn't locate it exactly. Now I'm trying a bypass but need some help from other scripters first. So it won't be finished today. But I keep trying.

But thanks for your support! :D It's much easier to find motivation if there are other poeple who like it. :)

I live on auto playlists and having to keep ratings up to date is just too hard this script rocks

Holy sh*t! Damnit, damn it, damn it, damn it!!!! *aaaaarrrrrgggghhhh*

I just found the problem. Looked at least 6 hours at the wrong place and did hundreds of testruns... Naturally the problem was in my code in and not im MM... :-?

Bad news: The whole day working for nearly nothing.
Good news: Now that the bug is fixed, the script works almost as it should. :) (anyway: hard to smile in a momment like this...)

Maybe yes... But I don't swear! ;)

What I have to do now:
-Some changes left
-Add SkipCounter-import for versions 1.1+
-Test some different cases
-Code cleanup
-Finishing the installer

Hi guys!
Thanks a lot for your support and your patience! Version 2.0 is ready for takeoff! :D

Sine the new version only works with MM3 I decided to start a new thread: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24126

By the way: There surely are some bugs left in 2.0. So please to a backup of your library first!

Thanks again! :)
