Hehe, ok, so maybe it was posted to spark some sorta responce, but I dont think so. Its not like we're talking bout Lil Kim album covers or something! lol Its just Mariah Carey, y'all!!!

Shes one of the famous and recogniseable singers in the world. Even if your not a fan of her personally, shes an artist who appeals to people of all ages. True, some of her album covers and videos are a little risqué (god knows she loves to show some skin), but they are still widely seen by kids, who she'd consider an integral part of her fanbase. As such, I'm pretty sure her record company wouldn't allow photos to be used if they thought them inappropriate, for fear they might damage her appeal to innocent youngsters.

Speaking as a moderator, the screenshot (including album covers) is fine. Back on topic anyone?

Here's mine (bumping this thread):

I don't like maximized windows, so I edited Glided's player to get more space.

thats fine that you redid the skin to suit you. but did you call it a new name ? you should because when you download the new update to monkey mortens skin is default and will reinstall over the old version meaning your work will be changed back to the default..

which is why we make new skins look differnt and call them different names. 8)

As long as this has been bumped...

Nohitters Zune has been my skin of choice.
Then he did Aqua.
Really liked the Aqua's player, but preferred the overall Zune look.

Hope Nohitter doesn't mind, but I did some mucking about and combined what I liked best about his skins;

Also, I modified it a little more to include a different No Album Art pic, ripped from Gege's wallpapers.
Lyrics panel in this shot is also by Gege;

MM3 + MonkeyRok script all with Eclipse skin:
(The idea to put the player in top middle is from Vyper (link: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... =9&t=30904)

I need a more functional MM rather than a cosmetic one.

Here's my tweak on noHitter's Zune skin. I like the simplicity of this layout and the colors match my desktop, which is why I even bothered recoloring noHitter's nice-looking skin in the first place.

Hello everyone.

I am new here, I know, I can gear it now, "NOOO, not another noob". I like the Monkey but I'm not too comfortable, dislike to be more honest, with the layout. I could really use some help here if someone has the patience. Remember, I'm a noob.
***NOOB ALERT, NOOB ALERT***
I am an old music match user from back when. I never really liked anything that went beyond the 7.5 version. I'm not a portable user like ipods, just looking for an mp3 player that will meet my needs. I loved the layout like this:
Image

I loved the library below a radio player and the play list to the right.
The ONLY reason I am leaving this is because I hate not having the cross fade option and cant find it as a plug in, hack or otherwise. I prefer The Monkey over the windows media player also if I can get the look I want.

I have seen where some of you have moved your panels around. If anyone can help me to get this program the way I would like it to look, if its even possible, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
NOOB IN WAITING
