Yesterday it was fine, but today...

Well this is what happends when I listen to something with MM, the music after being played is saved in the cache but it is never sent to LAst.fm site. Any tips how to correct this issue?

v1.0.2.11 should have better logging to catch exact error but from your logs currently Plugin can't connect to internet. Are you sure that something is not blocking MM and/or plugin from connecting to internet?

Apparently not, I have my MM added to the firewall exceptions, 2 days ago it connected but from then it never connected again, I can't figure what's causing this, I just updated to the new beta build to see it got fixed but so far nothing as changed.

I had the same problem and uninstalling the new Internet Explorer 8 beta cured it. I'd already updated the last.fm plugin and got the latest MM beta but to no avail but the only other thing that had changed on my system was IE8, so I got rid of it and now MM is back working fine.

For me it's working with IE8 RC1, MM 1220 & Last.fm 1.0.2.12.

I didn't thogt of that, and yes I installed it a few days ago, I'm getting rid of it right away.

Same thing here. I've gone as far as disabling my firewall and setting my computer in the DMZ of my router, still says handshake failed. I could uninstall ie8, but it seems absurd that would be the issue.

May I guess that it looks that IE8 has some API Access Rights that can interfere with MM access to Internet?

I'll uinstall IE8 rc1 and see if it works.

Edit: Sorry to report that it does. It asked to restart to finish the uninstallation, so I did and it now works. I'm going to reinstall ie8 and see if it forces it to stop working.

Unfortunately I must say that it is also working without problems on my end, and BTW IE8 looks faster than IE7 which is very very good.
