MM freezes while loading on laptop

Post by avz10 »

Hope someone can help.

I have MM 3.1.0.1213 on both my laptop and desktop. Since yesterday the one on the laptop freezes when starting up. I run AVG antivirus, I optimized, etc. Then I uninstalled and re-installed the newest version, but it still happens. The screenshot shows where it stops, I then need to do the ctr alt del thing to stop MM. Also shut down etc.

Thanks

This is the one you should pay attention to:

If Quicktime has been corrupted in some manner, it may prevent MediaMonkey from starting up. To resolve this:

- re-install the latest version of Quicktime from Apple.

OR

- Disable the iPhone/Touch plug-in. To do so:

a) Close MediaMonkey

b) Rename d_iphone.dll in the \Program Files\MediaMonkey\Plugins folder to off.d_iphone.dll

c) Restart MediaMonkey.
MediaMonkey user since 2006

Thanks for that, Nohitter. I re-installed Quicktime and it worked.
