This is the long awaited batch version of my Google Art Finder script. It checks all your albums, lists all with no art and queries google for the images. When you got all you want hit the save button and all your tracks will be updated.
There is also an option to include your non-album tracks in the batch. I recommend using the maximum batch size option to avoid slow performance. The next button can then be used to quickly start the next batch.
And the images don't lead to links... just htm files or go.php files...

I noticed that when hotlinking most browsers where downloading the file and leaving the user on a blank white page, so instead I modified my website to show the details of the file being downloaded - you can then choose which version of the file you want by clicking on the relevant monkey icon. Whilst the link is likely to be the same as the one you just clicked on, because you clicked on it from my site you will get the file you want.

Re: Batch Art Finder 3.0 [MM2+3]
Thanks for the recent update to Batch Art Finder (it fixed all the old error messages I sometimes would get). However, now there is a new quirk, and I'm not sure if it is just me or if others are having the problem too.
When I update a long list, it finds the art, but won't download/apply the last image in the list to the actual track. Whether it is all tracks of the same album, or single tracks to an album, it will always not apply the last image in the series (no error, it just never applies). I'm using the option apply to tag. Any ideas?

Ok, I'll check that out and see if I can find the problem.

Re: Batch Art Finder 3.0 [MM2+3]
Hi,
Firstly I'd like to say what an outstanding script - I have been using it for a few days now to fix up the art for 13000 albums in batches of 500 .
.
Unfortunately I having abit of a problem where sometimes the script does not start. I' might be being a bit stupid here but when I run the script (either by using the Tool-Scripts-BatchArtFinder or the button in th toolbar) nothing happens. For a while this was working fine, but not it has stopped. The script works fine if I check the RunOnPlayingTrackWithNoArt Option so I know it's installed ok. If I try and debug it I don't get anything in the log file so it looks like the script is not being started.
I'm guessing that I am a stupid user, and you have to select the files in the node tree in a certain way to get it to work and I'm fully prepared to eat humble pie when someone points out the obvious thing that I'm doing wrong. If anyone can point this out, I would appreciate it a lot as I have been trying to get this to work all morning.

@confused - all my scripts can be downloaded from my website, but the direct link to this script is http://trixmoto.net/mm/go.php?f=BatchArtFinder30.mmip
@Greek87 - thanks! Sometimes the script can get stuck but restarting MM should fix that problem. Quite a lot happens before the logfile is started so that's no necessarily such a strange thing for it to be empty. Does it still occur after restarting MM?

Re: Batch Art Finder 3.0 [MM2+3]
Hello, I'm running Win7 x64 Beta and dunno how to install and run the script. When I run BatchArtFinder30.mmip installation fails probably because of UAC. I tried to unpack .mmip contents into MM/Scripst/Auto/ folder and registered msinet.ocx manually but this didn't help. I can't see any new script added to MM. So how can I get this script working?
Re: Batch Art Finder 3.0 [MM2+3]
Try right-clicking on your MM shortcut and selecting "Run as administrator" before double clicking the installation package. To install it manually you will need to make additions to the "Scripts.ini" file as well.

Re: Batch Art Finder 3.0 [MM2+3]
A question: If I delete the cover-file this script save in the album folder, the coverart will stil be in the tag??
Re: Batch Art Finder 3.0 [MM2+3]
If you've got an image that is saved as a link and you delete the physical file, the link will still be in your tags, yes. You can use my "Album Art Tagger" script to remove this broken links though.

Re: Batch Art Finder 3.0 [MM2+3]
Thanks, running MM as administrator helped (I thought I tried it already though). However, I have yet one question. When I try to search for cover with diacritic in it's name it get's messed up like "Alkáč je největší kocour" changes to "AlkA!? je největA!A kocour" resulting no covers found. So there is no support for unicode?trixmoto wrote:Try right-clicking on your MM shortcut and selecting "Run as administrator" before double clicking the installation package.
