Height of table headers inconsistent after skin change

Post by ZvezdanD »

Well, I don't know where to post this. Maybe it should go to Artwork, but I think it is some kind of bug.

1. Choose Glided -> headers (tracklist, NP panel) have 18 pixels height;
2. Choose Casino Orange;
3. Choose Glided again -> headers are now 25 pixels height.

This is happening with many skins, but not all. For example, if I change from Glided to Vitreuos Blue and back to Glided, the header has same height as before, i.e. 18 px.

It is really frustrating and time consuming for me to discover such thing because I needed to experiment with numerous skins with my scripts.

I can reproduce it too, it seems like it depends which skin you start MM with, i.e. I can reproduce by loading MM with Vitreous, switching to Glided (column size now increases), change back to Vitreous but the larger column height persists.

sounds like its that same error we been getting with the players needing switched between the smaller and larger skins where they never adjust to the set size unless you switch between two skins of the same size.

you think it has any connections with that one nohitter151, to me it seems it does since an error when built on will just compound its self and show up in different locations. its about time for that error to start showing in other places. but i don't know where in the code that would be connecting at, not even the five block area to check at. :-? 8)

This is not resolved in 1247, even you state opposite.

Strange. I just retested in 1247, and the fix is working for me.

i.e. start in Vitreous blue, switch to Glided, switch back to Vitreous Blue
---> Vitreous blue headers display exactly as they should.

The panel on the right side of those screenshots is with the Event Logger script which has fixed header height.
