Anyone know what "Necessario oggetto" means? That bit of code that is throwing the error hasn't changed since the last version, and I can only imagine that the error is saying "SDB.Objects" doesn't exist, in which case you have serious problems. Have you tried restarting MM?

To me it looks like this is due to a typo on line 379 in the script:
Change:

Code: Select all

Dim plst : Set lst = Nothing
To:

Code: Select all

Dim plst : Set plst = Nothing
Just open up the GenreFinder.vbs file in notepad, use CTRL+G to go to line 379, and save the change. Restart MM and it should work.

Hmmmm, not idea how that happened, like I say that part of the code shouldn't have changed. Anyway, thank you Bex, I have updated the installation package so please download again if you are experiencing this problem. :)

This is nothing to do with the script - try restarting MM and see if that helps?

I downloaded the new version of the script, restarted MM, etc, but now I get an error box saying:

Error happened during script execution: Unknown name

(on Vista)

Thanks!

The update to v. 4.2 went well for me. Thank you.

Unfortunately, I get a "no suggested changes" every time I try to use the script. It doesn't seem correct to be getting that message since I am trying to add a genre to common artists such as, Bruce Springsteen, U2, etc.

Is there something that I am missing?
Thanks!

I've seen this too with the new version, verified on songs which were tagged fine by the previous version and songs with no tags.
