can someone tell me Which process to use from that script ?

sorry if it's supposed to be obvious it's all new to me.

thanks. :)

Rather than jump through all those hoops, I simply dragged and dropped the MM playlist into Windows Media Player. Millions of people use that without problem, too. And my playlist burned without issue.

i've burned with mediamonkey before but did not get what i wanted in way of cd text it workd but not how i wanted it to.
there might be errors in the new mediamonkey but they been fixing the burning drivers every upgrade so it should be getting better?

but i still use free version of jet audio to burn disks with cause it burns the cd text the way i like it burned. 8)

Hi,

I got the exact same "Layout" burning error with MM 3.2.4.1304 (Gold) when trying to burn a playlist. My disc format is <Auto Number> - <Title>, no other check boxes set.
I finally figured that the problem was caused by the following title:

Die Entführung Aus Dem Serail (The Abduction From the Seraglio), K. 384: "Welche wonne welche lust"

When I removed it from the playlist, I could burn.
Perhaps a more helpful error message or an automatic adaption of the erroneous part (title?) could be implemented?`
If you need a debug log, please let me know.

I realize that this reply is to a very old post but it is so indicative of the kind of attitude seen in social forums that I had to respond. Many people in general just do not how to relay respect while writing in forums.... maybe this will wake a few people up.

God I hate this attitude. How patronizing. Here I am, a veteran since MM 1, a software engineer, web designer, music producer etc. etc. and when I read this kind of tripe I lose it.

Where do you come up with "for 99% of them it works fine"? Did you run a poll? I doubt it. I think you pulled this # out of your (eh-hem) butt.

And when I read "There are always people like you" I want to throw something through the plate glass window. I've worked in customer support and tech sales and I find this comment to be very insulting when aimed at clients.

Look.... sometimes MM burning works and sometimes it does not.... all for reasons that are very unclear. I have given up on the MM burner and rather build a separate file list named and organized the way I like and then use something like CDBurnerXP to burn the disk. Never a problem burning both Audio and data disks for MP3 CD players.

I understand that you are a developer and that' great.... you have a superior product that I'm sure you've contributed to. Just remember that we are the one's who pay the bill (and I have paid for a lifetime license) and using patronizing language with your customers will do your business relationship with them absolutely no good. They'll probably get pissed and switch to WinAmp (God forbid).

My Two Cents.
Thanks
Mark

Did you read any of the rest of the thread? Because he did not give up on the user, and the issue was fixed! And I don't see how digging up this old thread is constructive in any way.
