How do i add scripts?
How do i add scripts?
How do i add/use scripts? I tried copy pasting the code into a file and putting it in the program file script folder but it *seemed* to not do anything. Then i looked in the helpfile and couldnt find my answer. I am a huge newbie.
Re: How do i add scripts?
Scripts come in a file with the extension .mmip ..... just run MediaMonkey as administrator and then click the mmip file. It will self-install.

Re: How do i add scripts?
some scripts use multiple files and need to be installed with the mmip file if you got the mmip from the download link and it showed up as a .zip in your computer then change the .zip back to .mmip and double click it.
if there is no mmip file then copy the full script with the copy script link above the script you find posted in the forum.
take that script and paste in to notepad. make sure to put the cursor in the top line of the notepad that is blank, and remove that blank line to place the words on the top line. for some reason some vbs files mess up with that blank line there.
also make sure to read the thread you got the script from to find out if they say to place anything in the scripts ini file. also they say that in the code for the scripts too. anything in the vbs script code after ' or * is not read
by the script engine and that is how the author tells you stuff by using those for marking the comment lines for
computer users to read. so follow any instructions you see in there also.
one other thing vbs scripts sometimes don't like is if you paste in the code to notepad and end up with blank space between the first character of each line and the left side of the notepad.
so when you are doing the removing of the blank line at the top of the code, also move down each line and remove any blank spaces in front of the line.
the only empty line you can remove is the one at the top of the code that is added by pasting in to notepad.
any empty line in the code is part of the code at least it seems to be, cause when i remove them the code messes up.
so just make sure you remove any indents to the lines and that might fix the errors.
