Seeking while a track is loading bug [#6714]

I've been annoyed by a long standing bug, and only just now thought to report it

When you try to seek to a position in a track you have just attempted to play, the track playback is skipped, and the track is marked as "unavailable" (greyed out) in the now playing list. This is not an uncommon scenario, for example you want to hear a specific part of a song.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Add any number of tracks to your "Now Playing" list.
2) Double-click one of the tracks to start it playing
3) Immediately use the "seek bar" to jump into the middle of the track

This doesn't occur for me. Instead of skipping the track, it just restarts it.

i'm glad its reported too as i got it and got the same way mizery_made has got it.

did not report it as i was thinking it was only on the old version of mm 3.1.xx

but hope its fixed in the new version.

I believe that this may have been resolved when bug #5421 was fixed can anyone still reproduce the issue in MM 4.0.0.1345 beta ?

as described by original poster the error does NOT happen in mm 4 1345. at least on my xp pro sp3 it does not happen

Unfortunately I can still reproduce in build 1345.

I play a track then immediately click on the seekbar. And it triggers the bug like described by the op.
