My settings are:
Tools -> Options -> Player -> Volume Leveling -> Target Volume Levels -> Level playback volume: per track
Play -> Level Playback Volume selected
When I do an "Analyze Volume" on a track, the track gets a value in the "Track Volume" column, but I can hear no difference in the playback volume level.
Even if I change the "Track Volume" of a track manually, say from -12.0 dB to +12.0 dB, there is still no noticable difference in playback volume.
What am I missing here?
"Analyze volume" does not seem to have any effect

Re: "Analyze volume" does not seem to have any effect
Are you doing this while the track is playing? I believe I have analyzed tracks while they were playing and heard no difference, however after with pausing or disabling then re-enabling leveling adjusted the volume appropriately. Beyond that, I can't think of any causes for there being no effect.
Re: "Analyze volume" does not seem to have any effect
Thank you for your quick reply and suggestions!
I already tried the things you suggested before I posted my question: Pausing while analyizing or changing the track volume, disabling and re-enabling volume leveling. I even tried to close and restart MM. No luck.
But after a little further investigation, I think I may have found the explanation: If I just enter a value in the "Track Volume" column without doing an "Analyze Volume" on the track first, it has no effect. But if I first "Analyze Volume" on the track, then I can change the "Track Volume" value manually, to "override" the result of the volume analysis. I suppose there is a very good reason why it must be like this, and I should probably have known it all along...
Anyway, problem solved, I think. Thanks again for your help!
