I'll try to investigate, but I still haven't managed to replicate this.

Re: Batch Art Finder 3.5 - Updated 19/07/2010
Okay then, more info -
I select the album I want to tag
Select Tools, Scripts, Batch Art Finder
Select yes for restrict to 1 album dialog box
The window displays as normal w/out pic and this error comes up: (abbreviated)
"Error 500 MSVBScript runtime error
Variable is undefined: 'l' (may have wrong var - hard to read)
File Path name\BatchArtFinder.vbs Line 1881; column 8"
Next box: "Error Executing Script"
If I select two albums it bypasses the detailed info and just displays the "Error Executing Script" box.
Let me know if you need more info - T.I.A.

Yeah, that's a bug. The variable is "i" but should be "img". You can replace it yourself or wait for me to fix is in the next version.

I have a problem with Batch Art Finder 3.5 in latest mediamonkey:
MediaMonkey 3.2.4, BatchArtFinder 3.5, Windows 7 Professional
Click on a title in the "now playing" list -> Batch Art Finder -> "Batch Art Finder - do yo wish to restrict the search to the 1 selected albums?" -> yes -> Edit album query -> Freeze
Worked without problems in 3.2.3 before i updated to 3.2.4.

What version of IE do you have installed? I'll take a look and see if I can replicate it.

Whenever I try to use Google as a source "Invalid pointer error, please try running IE and completing the default options"
Whenever I try Audioscrobbler: "Error Exectuing script event"
What should I do?

Don't know then. I can't replicate the problem, so fixing it could be tricky!

When you say deault options, you mean just making IE the default browser, right? I'm on W7 64 bit if that helps.

try starting mediamonkey in admin mode i think you have to right click the starting icon and click on admin? or some such loop hole to get mediamonkey to start in it.?BearCavalry wrote:When you say deault options, you mean just making IE the default browser, right? I'm on W7 64 bit if that helps.

No, you don't need IE to be the default browser. This error originally started occurring because people had upgraded to IE8 and when you run it for the first time there's a couple of wizard screens to setup new options - people who hadn't completed this wizard screens were getting the error, or rather they said that after they had completed them they were no longer getting the error.

HI
This problem with "invalid Pointer error" started today.
It has worked fine ever since i've installed ver: 3.5( couple months ago)
IE 8 was installed for months and months.
I've checked my logs if there is any automatic updates, but no.
It's a pity when this is one of my favorite scripts.
Need help.
