am getting similar problems syncing my ipod touch 2nd gen. I always get "the following items on ipod touch are not on sync list. Do you want to remove them from the device?" If I don't delete them, all of the duplicate tracks from my library go onto the ipod.
I just want Mediamonkey to leave all the tracks alone that are both on the ipod and in the Auto-Sync list folder. I only want it to take songs off that are not in the folder. It seems like it should be able to just update the differences and not mess with anything else. Please help!
I have been syncing by pressing "sync device" under Tools --> Sync device
Is syncing by right clicking music folder Send To --> Ipod touch (syncornize) the same thing??
Auto-Sync list: one folder with a few thousand songs in it
Auto-Sync options: delete tracks not in the list / confirm delete
Under Tools --> Sync Device: Auto-Sync is checked ... Ipod Touch is checked
