External video player no longer works

Disabling the option to play videos with MMA no longer triggers popup to select a video player to use.

So mma is not releasing controll of video formats? Did you try reboot after disabling it?

It's probably already associated with video playback, which you can only clear in Android Settings.

Where in Android is this setting? Also why is this a problem with this build when it worked before and does it still work for other apps?

It seems the problem may be when selecting video files from UPnP server not from device itself.

I checked and yes, the problem is not with videos on the device, but videos access from a DLNA server.

What app you use to access UPnP? BubbleUPnP saves its own external player settings. I had that issue once, but I do not remember how I solve it.

MMA is used for accessing DLNA server. Bubble UPnP does correctly ask which video player should be used. I tend to use MX Player for video playback as it supports many more formats.
