I got all sorts of errors when going to the Artwork>Albums node. This with Grouping Enabled in the script.

It seemed to me that the script struggled a bit while including these 'funny characters' into the Grouping Section at the top of browse.htm. After cleaned a few Album Names everything turned out smooth as silk..

Maybe a cleaning script could be done. Like using the search function in MM, to list all AlbumTitle containing the " character for example, then highlight these tracks, and run a cleaning script of selected tracks - "Search for, Replace with' kind of thing. Then syncronized ID3 tags would happen too I guess. A script like that could be used for many things I guess.. grammar errors too. Search for containing Cant, select the tracks you want to modify, using the Ctrl+Click method, and replace Cant with Can't say...

Thanks to your script I got to clean up some inconsistency in Album Names today. Like the same album may have had
Greatest Hits
The Greatest Hits
as Album Name, and this script make these errors very visable. (DoubleListing) I don't mind, it helps to find'um, and fix'um.

I cannot get any errors when using the Artwork>Album node, no matter what names I use (including single and double quotes). Can anyone give me a specific example of an error message?

Love..2.2 works great, no errors....my wife has even started creating playlists..must be easy to use! Was wondering if the click action of view album does anything?.........in v2.1 that action took you to the songs on the album, however nothing happens when I hit the album or link. The play now, last, clear..etc. option works fine.

@runtherisk - I don't know how this bug got introduced because I haven't changed that code, but I noticed that bug yesterday and it is fixed in 2.3

@DiddeLeeDoo - I have now replicated and fixed the problem with artists starting with a single quote - this was creating an invalid SQL statement which ahs now been fixed in 2.3

I would suggest that "Legendary John Denver (disc 3)" has an invalid character in it. Try deleting and retyping this artist maybe. If you switch the debugging off, does the script fall over still?

Great script!

I have one problem though. When I click on an album it does not always start playing song nr. 1 on that album. Sometimes it starts with nr. 10 or 11, it's a bit annoying. All my files are in FLAC format, but I don't know if that is relevant.

Suggestion: How about adding the option to have an optional margin/padding around the covers? This way you can decide the space between the album covers.

Then there's definitely an invalid character in that artist name. I'm going to have to try much harder to catch them all - not sure how - but I'll find a way!

ADDITION: When I say "invalid", I mean that VBScript string manipulation methods cannot deal with the character, not my script can't! Hopefully I'll be able to make my script workaround these characters.
