Unable to Use File, Edit, Tools, Help Drop Down Menus [#15852]
Installed MM5 this morning over latest version. Didn't take long but when I went to Tools>Options, nothing happens. The menu isn't dropping down. So I guess my question is, should I have uninstalled previous version installing MM5? I don't want to loose my playlists, so I'm just going to go with MM5 and play around with it.

What's your PC configuration ? Multi monitor environment ? DPI settings ?

Re: Unable to Use File, Edit, Tools, Help Drop Down Menus
I had hijacked a different post (http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 30&t=94498) to post about this too, it happened for me in several consecutive builds. Not just the regular menus were missing; also right-click context menus, really every menu as far as I could tell.
I just installed build 2188 and they're almost back to normal!

Now I can see them, but the placement isn't totally correct, and text runs off the end.
BUT: that is with the Material Design (dark) skin. If I switch to the normal Material Design skin, the menus work fine, though some of the coloring could be improved:

PC configuration: Laptop with 2 external displays; resolution is 3240x2160 with 200% scaling on the laptop display (where the screenshot is from) and 3840x2160 with 150% scaling on the external displays. Behavior is the same on each.

Can you try to set 100% DPI ?

Re: Unable to Use File, Edit, Tools, Help Drop Down Menus
OK, tried at 100% DPI and - it looks great!

... Then I switched the screens back and restarted the app, and they it looked fine, even at 150% DPI. Then, and this may be key, I dragged the window from one of the 150% screens to the 200% screen, and parts of it went funny:

Thinking back I am not sure if I was doing this screen movement yesterday, but it seems to behave now if I leave it on whatever screen it started on, but if I move from a screen with one DPI setting to one with a different DPI setting, that seems to confuse parts of it.
