MoDementia - Have you tried to install the new version ALPHA02 (several posts further up), which also fixed that same bug I was having with ALPHA01.
I think it was the error where you MUST have a c:\temp directory on your hard drive before starting MM with this script.
Much more than this, I can't help you - you'll have to wait for oldskool73 to come on line - he wrote the script.
Sorry I can't be of any more help.

morning guys.
looks like we have some filesystem issues going on now, oooh what fun (why can't this stuff just work!?
)
first of all if you hade Alpha1 installed I'd suggest you delete or rename the monkeyrok folder before installing alpha2 (just to be on the safe side)
when you unzip alpha2 into the 'scripts' folder, it should put one file into 'auto' (monkeyrok.vbs) and create a new monkeyrok folder with a filesystem like this...

To show the available skins the options panel simply reads all the folders in the 'scripts/monkeyrok/skins/' folder, so please check you've put the files in the right place (...and the zip wasn't meesed up or anything)
Also, if it's not showing album art please double check the temp folder setting in the options panel and check it points to a real available writable folder and has a trailing slash (e.g. c:\, c:\temp\ etc). I've removed all the errors, so if the folder can't be found or written to it will now fail silently and you simple won't see the album art. You can try right clicking on the 'not found' image and choosing 'properties' to check where it's looking for the image, this might show up any obviously wrong path settings
Cheers guys

This is a beautiful script. Very nicely done!
I wonder if I could ask for a feature?
My MM desktop is hungry for more real estate. I would like to use your script in place of the album art display. But there's one function of the album art display that I use, which is to click on the album art and have it pop into a bigger window so that I can enlarge and see the album.
I'd love it if I could have a way to click on the album art in M-Rok and have it pop up into a seperate and sizeable window. Much like the current MM album art window works. Additionally, when the album art is popped into this window, I'd like to be able to doubleclick on the title bar of the window to maximize the album art window, which MM does not do (has been requested for quite a while).
If you can do this then I can stop using the album art window all together, and substitute the M-Rok window in its place.

ActiveX issues
I think that someone needs to work out how to include a snippet of code that works similar to the popup-blocker in I.E.
You know the little bar that is at the top asking to install activex component (whats the risk and always trust this site etc)
What ever it does would automattically fix the problem I have by setting all the correct activex enable etc.
Hope you know what I'm talking about

Similar to that you need Signed Drivers in XP, Microsoft wants you to have Microsoft Digitally Signed Scripts. That is what Microsoft means with this Local Machine 'marked safe' business from what I gather.
All this is a measure to prevent old script viruses like ILOVEYOU that were a problem for like 6-7 years ago. This 1201 = 0 is really not a big problem.
Most ISPs do not even allow this sort to pass on to you, so you will most likely never even see an old style virus like that.

MoDementia : just noticed you seem to be having similar problems with other scripts, and from your postings in the 'browse by art' thread it looks like you may be having some local issues with your anti-virus software preventing IE from running scripts properly. Have you tried turning off all your virus software (just temporarily) and seeig if that makes any difference?
Perhaps you'd be better starting a new 'help' thread of your own about this, so we're not trying to fix this issue across a number of different threads (and so the final solution is in one place for anyone else that may have the same problem)

I´ve noticed that your script needs a lot of CPU-resources. Sometimes it crashes the whole MediaMonkey.
I think i noticed that this happens when an Artist with a Space (FirstName LastName) is called by your Script.
Then the sidebar stops at the "Album by Artitst" and the CPU-Need goes up to 100% and then i can do nothing as close the Monkey with the Taskmanager.

holterpolter : hmmmm, not noticed this myself
are you saying that any artist name with a space in it causes this (e.g. artist="Michael Jackson") or that this happens when you have an artist who's name is just a space? (e.g. artist=" ")
(May sound a stupid question, but if you have loads of random MP3's with with the same 'blank' artist name then of course the list of tracks by that 'blank' artist will be massive. If they also have the same 'blank' album name, this could look like one giant album and crash the script when querying this 'blank album' by 'blank artist')
