Customizeable Global Hotkeys (Like Winamp Has)

I would really appreciate some hotkeys, so i can skip through tracks, change volume, etc. I know about the mouse gestures you can use on the tray icon, but they are hard to use with a touchpad on my laptop, so hotkeys would be much better!

Try searching the forum as this topic has been discussed many times. There is a solution I believe (not sure).

Did a little search myself because I didn't know the status either:
