Now with freedb closing up shop, what do you guys recommend as an alternative and will CDDB now become part of MediaMonkey to replace it in future versions?

What about MM opening a freedb based server, using the resources people at freedb.org keeps public? The access to the server could be restricted to MM software only ;)
Winamp follower for years in a row, since 2006 a happy MM Gold User :)

I use tagscanner and Musicbrainz. Tagscanner usees Freedb.org and still works.
