Hey,
I recently bought a new Android smartphone and migrated my music folder on the new device. Playing music still works fine, but album art is broken - no track has the correct album cover. Either there is no cover at all or a cover from a different album I have on my phone.
So, my guess is that there is some kind of cache that needs to get deleted/refreshed.
I found a .thumbnails folder in my music folder and deleted its content, which lead to having no album art at all.
Then, after a phone reboot, I am back to the problem situation of having a track from an album folder A, appear with a cover from a track from a different folder.
I have MMA 2.1.0.1277 running on the phone (Pixel 10)
Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?

Re: MMA: Album cover broken on new smartphone
This depends on how you 'migrated' the music to your new device. If you used the Android migration tools, you may have copied the music but not the MMA database / artwork.
Assuming that's the case, your best bet would be to:
1) Do a clean install of MMA and delete your device profile
2) Perform another sync of the tracks from MMW to your phone, making sure to enable the option to 'Delete tracks that are in the library but not on the sync list' to avoid duplicates.
That should match tracks that are on the device to those in your MMW library, and at the same time update all metadata in MMA (artwork, genres, play history, volume leveling data, etc.).
