Gold license not usable after upgrade

Hello.

I obtained a Gold lifetime license whicht works fine with v2024.0.0.3082. Checking for updates, the application told me that there is a major update... and that I should necessarily upgrade... because almost 200 Bugs and issues were fixed... and, most importantly, that I can retain my license even after upgrading. So I downloaded the version provided by a link inside the update info message... and ended up installing v2024.2.0.3184. Unfortunately I can't activate my license with this version any more. Is this the intended behavior?
