Hi Mthrsuperior,
Check out page 12 in this thread, there you have your answer to your expand question...
If you, like me, don't know how to do scripts, take your time and read what Trixmoto is writing and explaining...after a while you will understand what needs to be done to expand and tweak the infoboxes.
Cheers,
//P

player!
guys, I have just come back from trying out the jr media center program, and media monkey is king. It does it all; and with the incredible scripting flow and help and community, this is the start of a beautiful relationship. I want to post my screen, but I won't. maybe someother time, on another thread. This is truly awesome. Thank you, and goodnight.

Artist and album comments
First of all congratulations on a great script ...
Second of all ... does anyone know if it's possible to include artist level and album level commetns in this script?
I'd like my comment box to contain 3 sections e.g.
Track Comments
blah, blah, blah
Album Comments
blah, blah, blah
Artist Comments
blah, blah, blah, blah, blah
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Penny

Re: Artist and album comments
How are these comments saved? are they the custom fields from MM or are they 3 comment fields from the MP3 tag? because AFAIK MM does not support multiple comments in mp3 tags.Mirror-ball wrote:First of all congratulations on a great script ...

Track comments are stored in the DB in table memos, field memotext with memotype 20001 and in the tag of the file.
Artists comments are only stored in the DB in table Artists, field comments.
To assign Artist comments. Rightclick on an artist in the tree and choose properties.
Album comments are only stored in the DB in table Album s, field comments.
To assign Album comments. Rightclick on an Album in the tree and choose properties.
Actually, I don't know if Artist/Album comments are stored to the tag of the file but I don't think so...

First off , great script ! i am using the docked version ,together with " web search panels " http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... highlight=
I use MM for audiobooks ; i get the review with web search panel ,and paste it in the comment field ,but i can also paste it in the lyrics box (in Detailed Song Info Panel it is larger ,less scrolling) i 'd like to know if it makes a difference (performance ,tags )using either lyrics or comment field ?
Thanks ,Lin

Hi:
This is another one of those scripts that I love. However, I would like to have it tweaked a little. Is it possible to add playcount and playdate or remove the tempo and mood sections (I do not use those). Please keep in mind I am a non-programmer, so could you explain it to me in simple English?
Thank you all for your assistance.
