oh i see that is easy. just put the transpernt setting to one you want when you make the graphic image you use for the header and boarders.
place them on the images on the image map.
then take and add a shape to the image map take the boarder off the shape your adding. and fill the color of the shape in with the same pink
background of the image map that is already set to transparet color for the skin program.
now place that new pink shape between the image map and the image you just put on that you want to use for the header and boarders.
thus covering the orgianl image with the new pink color but not your image for the headers or boarder. that sould make the image transpeartn when you see it on the skin. just save the image map as and png and replace the bmp in the mskn file with the png one. it should be transparent then.
why save the image map as an png instead of bmp? cause a bmp can't do transpent.

that was a little hard to follow.. but iether ay.. I'm pretty sure you can't to semi-transparency in MM... and definitely not when using a colour as the transparent area.. if anything, it might work if you deleted all background so you actually had transparency in the png and not just a different colour which was set to transparency later...
however, I'm VERY confident that MM won't do semi-transparency (yet anyway) and windows vista actually blurs the semitransparent views anyway - like frosted glass.
well it seems like it should work but maybe that is why i got a black area when i tired to change the floating player background image?

yeah.. I read something warning about single pixel transparency though.. it cpu usage... but then again.. I guess the same thing would probably happen if it support semi-transparency.
I just started using media monkey today and i for one love this black skin, goes really well with the dark window blind i use and the rest of the stuff on my computer, i like monkeys to but they can stay in the jungles, enuff monkeys behind computers now without more on them lol
