Small Vista Bugs
Overall I've found MM works quite well in Vista. Two things I've noticed using 2.5.5.996 on Vista:
1) I can't use square brackets anywhere - you know these: [ and ]. When I try one I get nothing. When I press it again I get this: ^^
2) Hacking the INI file to move the music database elsewhere (putting it in the My Music/Music folder isn't a great idea IMO) doesn't seem to work. Likely a Vista permissions issue - hopefully this is the encouragement needed to make this changeable via the program itself now.

New to mediamonkey and all.
But I'm running Vista Home Premium and MediaMonkey works well until I tried to get AudioScrobbler to work too. I've read and tried to use the winamp workaround. But it doesn't like to work. That's just for AS though. MM itself works fantastic.
Has anyone gotten it to work?

Creative Zen Micro Will Not Sync With Vista
I posted in the Sync section and haven't had any response. I really don't want to have to use WMP to sync.
I got the problem as well...
I really love MediaMonkey, It is fantastic Software, better than all the rest, but... My Vista Home Premium (32bit) on my Acer Asp 5920 machine makes MM crash. I don't know if it is a Vista Issue, but it just doesn't work. It could play one track without problem, and then, when another song should be loaded, I get the Vista message that Media Library has stopped working.
The only way to solve the problem was to download the new version of MM, MM3, but... beta.
However, Media synchronisation in MM3 is not yet satisfying (It keeps going but at a certain moment, it just stops synchronising, still in a song. Result: Crash on plugging in the device...
I use a Zen Vision:M, works fine with other synchronisation engines)
But I still miss the Gold functionalities...

MM2.5.5 has worked for me on Vista with no problems.
Only thing i can suggest would be to check to make sure you have 2.5.5.998 and not an older version as anyone who seems to have problems is using an older version or doesn't specify.
I'm using English for a regional setting and have many songs with Japanese titles, zero problems with MM3.0b3 (I'm using MM3 exclusively) so things might be better with 3.0.
