well it might not all be alpha testers. some might just be getting it to be ready when mm3 is released.

as for the number count blake that does not mean yours in not any less of a good skin. yours is a monkey version not a exact copy.

i like mortens skin but i like yours a little better because it is a monkey version and not a exact look alike.

over time you will not even care about the amounts of downloads you will keep making good skins and those that like them will get them.

your 5 years younger then morten so when he stops skinning you got 5 more years to make more skins that might get more downloads then his ever got,

but that is in the future so dont worry over the download counts,

Morten, if nothing else, WMP is a very nice slick interface to use.
You have captured this brilliantly and made this available for alpha users of MM3. The 600 downloads to date show that this is very appreciated by the community

I can't wait to see what you achieve in the way of original MM skins once development of MM3 and the skinning engine is further down the development track.

Yeah. This skin was made for two things;

1) To make users, who's using WMP11, to consider this. It got the same looks, but works better and faster.
2) Mapping of which functions is needed to skin interfaces who actually have the most number of downloads on sites such as download.com.

I've updated all the player-skins, so this baby is ready for Alpha 4 launch. The one problem which should be solved before getting it released, is only a text bug which makes it difficult to have different fonts color in the menu and it's dropdown-menu. I maybe have to use a grey font to compromise this.

how did you get the player underneath the status bar? - is that a new skinning option in alpha 4?

if your talking about the little tiny one that goes on the task bar
that is a new player option in alpha 3.
thats where he gets the 3 player skin counts for each skin.

now in mm 3 you have the options of using the big main player and list view for editing.

then you can change to the floating player which is another player that can be any shape wanted by the skin designer soon to hopefuly include transperant backgounds on that one.

and you can send the player to the task bar as a little player.
that replaces the need for the control icons in the system tray.
this little tiny player was made by petrc and will look the same but go either on the hortz. task bar or the vertical task bar
which ever way you use the taskbar.

one more nice feature for users.
the hard part is coming up with a skin that small that works.

its like trying to skin with a couple of 16 x 16 icons.

no i think that has always been there the mm 2 skin had a status bar, it was on the bottom of the player.
and so is the one in mm 3's default skin. i think he just coded it to be where this one in this skin is at, most are on the bottom of the player. this i guess is how wmp 11 does it?

The first entry allowes the player to be docked beneath the status-bar, the other code locks the player (making it unmovable).

Your site never did load the page for the plugins did.
but the main page just sat and spun its wheels.

i can't read your site the fonts are too small and on white background. i have my browser set to ignore the websites coded font size and use my computer set size.

but yours don't change from the tiny winy little things which are the eye doctors dream size.
cause he gets more visits and sales more glasses.

and only about one thrid of the page was used the spot right in the middle the sides were not even used?

that might be showing you have a smaller screen size...?

try adding some script to change the size of your page to fit the visitors screen size. i seen something like that in a free dhtml script web site, maybe that will help the fonts?

oh of course get that skin finished first i want to see it.
