getting rid of artist in album view

when I look through the library, The albums have the artist name next to them, how can I get rid of this as it causes havoc with multiple artist albums(compilations etc). I still want to be able to sort through the artist node itself but don't want the artist listed next to the album in the album node

The artist displayed in the album node is the Album Artist. So you must have the same Album Artist in an album to make MM display it correctly. If you want you can try my tagging inconsistencies script which find these things plus tons of other "errors" as well. (Link in signature.)
