Applying DFX enhancements during conversion?

Post by ElectroLuxx »

Is there a way to apply DFX enhancements to files when you convert audio formats?

I'd like to use DFX'd mp3's in a mixing program that I use, which means that I will need to take my original files and create DFX-enhanced versions of them.

you mean you want to add digital sound effects to songs?

only way i can think of that is the old long hard way.

converting the song to wav going in to a wav editor and mixing the song and sound effects together.

other wise you can use winamp to play them. or some other player.

and also use the old windows 2 media player. thats what i got in the folder wmp2.exe it is the old version.

you put the song in one player set up the eq and all that. then put the effect in the other player.

and then record a new wav file with the effects and song in a wav editor.
lots of time and work but you get a good sounding song that way.

you need a lot of hard drive space to do that.
then when you save the wav just use monkey to convert it.
