How would you like to see numbers in Playlist and other nodes?

There should be a special # column.

Remove numbers from Title field

Post by jiri »

As you all probably well know, currently there are numbers included in Title fields in several nodes (Album, Playlists, Now Playing). Quite often people are confused about this and don't understand what the numbers do in their Title fields.

Because of this, we would like to fix the issue by introducing a new column '#' used in the mentioned nodes. However, before we do so, we would like to know your opinion about this, whether you aren't too much used to the current solution, etc.

Thanks for feedback,
Jiri

Personally I'm fine with the way it is in 2.5, but I've voted for the new column because I think this is more flexible and I think new users would definitely prefer it this way, so I think it's better for MM as a whole.

I voted for special column. But of course it should be possible to hide it.

But wouldn't it be visible in all list views and not only the old ones?

I like it the way it is but have voted for the special column for much the same reasons as already stated. It should be able to be hidden.
