When I had the Song Properties dialogue box open and the song changed to the next one the dialogue box froze the application.
On another occasion the same thing happened when I was using a playlist criteria window.
In both cases it froze the application until I right clicked MM in the taskbar. I also had the Pop-up display option set to on, 3 secs & Only when inactive unticked - it could be this which is causing the issue because when I turn it off it all appears OK.

yes the popup is having troubles it was stealing the focus and making the player's main theme go back to always on top.
