Track Browser Excludes 1st track

Post by geekinabox »

There are many instances where using the the track browser selectors excludes the first track in an album in the track listing.

To recreate:
1.) I ripped American Gangster to the drive
2.) I typed American Gangster in the search box
3.) All 15 tracks (1-15) show up (this is good). By default the 'All (1 Items)' option is selected in the 3 track browser columns:

4.) Then I select the one album in the list ('American Gangster'), and now only tracks 2-15 are displayed. Track #1 is missing.

Detailed information about environment:
Vista Home Premium, 3 GB RAM, 1 DVD-RW, MediaMonkey build 3.0.1.1127, Default plugins enabled

how long was track one.?

was it set to ignore the size of track one and others but making it igonre a certian file size and a certian time lenght?

go in to the options and find the two ignore options
either uncheck them or make them so small a number they will never work on your library.

i do not use them cause i have sound effects that are less then two seconds long. i also have the shortest song on the computer and it is only 18 seconds long counting the silent space.

just turn off the ingore options if you are doing the same things. 8)

Happens a lot

Post by selimsivad »

I have been playing around with this a bit - the problem appears to happen in a few places consistently and I believe it is a Track Browser bug.

For example, let's say you select an Artist in the "Artist & Album Artist" node in the tree and let's say you have the Track Browser enabled. If you select the first album in the album column of the Track Browser, the first track will not appear in the track list, but if you select the "All (N Items)" it will appear. It seems to happen to the first album (alphabetically) regardless. If you select the album in the tree node, all is well.

The same thing happens if you search for an artist. The first track of the first album will not appear if you select that album in the Track Browser. Selecting "All (x items)" or searching for the album work fine.

Hope this helps...
