Pop up display info - all albumarts in ratio 1:1

Dear dev-team,

using mm3.0.2.1134. Albumart in "pop up info" is always of ratio of sides 1:1 (square). If an albumart is of different ratio (rectangle), the player displays that correctly -- meaning the player part of MM. Could this be done also for the "pop up info"? Please...

I noticed that in the release version and at first I thought I'd mention it but then I realized I liked it that way. Still, it probably should be fixed. I'll live!

what kind of album art is rectangle?

only one i know is the monkeys music box album cover it was a book form of 4 cdroms. i made a square cover of that one.

is this non square starting to be the trend or just a fad?

but the pop up was said to be getting some adjustments on it
not sure when they will happen but petrcbr is working on it.

It's there from the beginning of mm3 alphas. It did not bug me too much before. But now, when all the crash bugs are fixed, the users start to bellyache about design stuff -- it's just normal social behaviour

Some of mine. It's just good to have that possibility. You can place a picture of the singer if the track is rare and not officially released. Or just to add any picture to any track. PMP creative ZVM support no1:1-albumarts putting them into the square box with transparent background, as MM player does. It's just nice.
