Hello from NC

Post by RickH »

Brand new member here...just downloaded MM a few days ago for use with my Sansa Clip and I'm really lovin' it more and more every time I use it. Looks like a great forum here - I'm hoping you guys/gals discuss the method to your madness regarding how you go about creating your playlists when it comes to category, genre, mood flow, etc. Just looking for ideas I haven't thought of but I think what I'll try out is to put anything new I add to my player in it's own playlist (separate from the full library on my player), so whenever I just want to hear "latest adds", I can pull them up and not hear the same-ole, same-ole.

go in to the options for mediamonkey. they are under the tools menu.

look for the option to have monkey make a playlist for recently added files. and check it. that will put them all in the playlist with the date you added them as the name of the playlist.
