How do you rip CD tracks directly to a device?

Post by RickH »

Does MM allow you to rip tracks directly to an MP3 player without putting them on my hard drive? I've tried to find how to do this using the Help function in the software but couldn't find it.

i don't believe you can. unless your device can be seen as an hard drive. then you can set the location to rip as that hard drive letter. but it might be a long time for a song to be ripped since the devices might use a different compression and just call it mp3, or allow it to look like an mp3 format. some of the lyra ones i had use to do some trickery like that. but that was about 5 years ago.

if that is not able to be done that way then i don't think it can be done at all.
