1198: Cannot read USLT lyrics tags BUG#4635 [Fixed 1203]
Since MM2.5 I have used Minilyrics to save synchronized and unsynchronized lyrics to mp3 tags. With the newest beta, MediaMonkey no longer reads these lyrics values from tracks tagged with Minilyrics. I am using MM version 3.0.3.1162, Minilyrics 5.7.3418. This worked correctly in previous MM versions, including 3.0.3.1159.
I have tested a large number of mp3's, so I'm relatively certain its not due to some corrupt file or tag heading. File monitor is on, monitoring the track(s) in question. This is quite a big problem for me, though I realize it may not be such a big problem for other users. I hope its something that can be fixed!

There seems to be a cause in in_wmp3.dll.
When in_wmp3.dll is used, mp3 file is not opened with other software while playing.
This issue seems not to happen when in_mad is used.

I don't think this is the problem, because Minilyrics will wait until the song has stopped playing (or a new one starts) to save the lyrics to the tag. Also, I can check that the lyrics are in the mp3 tag using Minilyrics or other tagging software. The tag is there, but MM doesn't detect or import it (while previous versions did, up until 1162).REIKA wrote:There seems to be a cause in in_wmp3.dll.

Oh , sorry. I was misunderstanding it.
MM cannot recognize unsynched lyrics , and unsynched lyrics is lost if you save mp3 by MM !

Jiri, I have sent you a track that exhibits this problem but I can reproduce it with any mp3.
I can't imagine any other reason why the exact same process I've used to tag lyrics in every other version of MM would stop working all of a sudden when the only change was an upgrade to 1164 (from 1162). The modified tags should be picked up because file monitor is running.

BUG#4635 in 3.1.0.1199
This appears to be an issue again with MM 3.1 beta. I can provide an mp3 file where USLT lyrics aren't detected by MM with file monitor or after rescan if necessary (happens with any mp3 file).

Will be fixed in 1202. This happening only when scanned track is also currently loaded in tracklist.
