Problem solved New updated script
Hi,
I have just started to monitoring C:\Users\personal\AppData\Local\MediaMonkey\ to see if I could understand why MM is running as normal (playback) but suddenly stops to save/update MM.db while playback continue to works as normal. Very hard to reproduce
Instead of a updated MM.db there are 2 files
MM.DB-stmtjrnl (hidden)
MM.DB-journal
There is no "crash" before I turn MM off, but when I close MM an error occur (message saying something like: an error has occurred and the program must be closed) and playstat is gone for all tracks played after last proper (saved) MM.db
When reopen MM the above 2 files has automatic been deleted, last timestamp is just before when last MM.db was properly saved. I can get data from tags with a rescan action -> played/rated tracks with a timestamp later when last proper db save. I have to fix last played with Ben's script...
What could be the reason why MM suddenly stops to save/update MM.db? I have search forum, but not sure if I understand everything
- I have had a large autoplaylist (NP) > 1000 tracks. I have now reduced it to max 3 hour (~50 tracks)
- My collection is on external USB HDD (WD 1TB), MM is installed on laptop
- I have many scripts installed both only 2 that are running during playback (Monkey Rok and Track Redirection & Synchronization)
- Memory related? leakage? RAM? Is there any simple/automatic way I can monitoring if this is the problem
- My collection is ~150GB but currently only a small part (3 300 tracks, 22 GB) is "checked in" to MM library.
- More or less every day I optimize db using Maintain Library and I have also defrag MM.db with perfectdisk, current size of db is 13.6 MB
